City Search

Search SageCRM / s5Maps:

This will look at Companies in your SageCRM system and return a list of up to 50 results that match what you enter.

The search is on Company name and city**. Note that only non-Google addresses look at the city.

My example I entered “Chicago” A list of Companies with “Chicago” in the name or the company is in Chicago appear. If the Company is on the s5Map already, then it will have an *** at the end.

Select Chicago Fire Department and the s5Map will zoom into that company.

If I search for Sage:

And select one that isn’t on the s5Map, say Sage Omega. The s5Maps will refresh and center around that company.

The second search type is:

City Search Google Maps

Enter a city name and the field will Autocomplete based on the name:

Select London UK, and the map zooms to that city:

Click on the bullseye and the S5Map refreshes to that area and shows you all your locations close to London, UK.:

The third Search function is: Places Search

This allows you to search within the bounds of the screen for a specific search term.

My example is Pet Stores in around the London, ON area.

There are 52 locations that have something to do with Pet Stores.

Note that some of the locations are in green, that indicates that it’s a Company in SageCRM that has been added from the s5Maps.

As I zoom into the s5Map and refresh the search, the results are filtered based on the area of the map.

I now have only 7 within the bounds of the s5Map.

Now for the fun part,

There is a checkbox on the top header area of the Search tool. This will select all of the Companies in the list. You can select individual locations as well.

Once you select a Company, you can either Map the Locations or Add then to SageCRM.

When you click on the Map Locations:

Or a larger subset based on viewing a larger area:

The selected Locations are mapped on the s5Map.

If you click on Add to SageCRM, you are prompted to confirm:

Once confirmed, the selected location are added to SageCRM as prospects and the now appear on the s5Map.

You can now view their Company data from SageCRM Company Summary Screen.

Note that the business data is visible within SageCRM and within the s5Maps environment.
